Kattu Rani(1965)
Kattu Rani (1965) is a Tamil-language action drama film directed by M. A. Thirumugam and produced by Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar under Dhandayuthapani Films. The cast includes S. A. Ashokan, K. Balaji, K. R. Vijaya, and Sheela. The story follows a hunter named Gopu who falls in love with a jungle woman called Rani, but a dacoit named Kannaiah threatens their relationship. The film is set in a dense forest and features wild animals, fights, and romantic songs. Critics compared it unfavorably to the Hollywood film Hatari! and called it a formulaic jungle masala. The music was composed by P. S. Diwakar with lyrics by Kannadasan. The film was released on 4 February 1965 and performed poorly at the box office, incurring a loss.

Storyline
