Poojaikku Vandha Malar(1965)
'Poojaikku Vandha Malar' is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film produced and directed by Muktha Srinivasan. It stars Gemini Ganesan, Savithri, R. Muthuraman, and Nagesh in lead roles. The story follows two close friends who become enemies after a workplace misunderstanding, and one friend's sister who fights to marry the man she loves despite family conflict. The film was written by K. Balachander, who later became a renowned filmmaker. The Indian Express called it a 'mixed bunch, mildly fragrant' and praised Nagesh's comedy performance. The soundtrack, composed by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy, features the popular song 'Maiyendhum Vizhiyodu'. The film was released on 12 March 1965 and emerged a commercial success.

Storyline
Suresh and Ravi are best friends until a misunderstanding at work turns them into enemies. Suresh falls in love with Chitra, unaware she is Ravi's sister. When he discovers the truth, he breaks up with her. But Chitra refuses to give up and moves into his house, determined to win him back.
