Muradan Muthu(1964)
Muradan Muthu is a 1964 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed and produced by B. R. Panthulu. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan in a dual role as twin brothers, alongside Devika, M. V. Rajamma, and Chandrakantha. The story follows a fearless rogue who uses his wits to help his gentle twin brother marry the woman he loves, facing a greedy stepmother and a powerful zamindar. The film is notable for being a remake of the 1944 Bengali film Mane Naa Mana and was simultaneously shot in Kannada as Chinnada Gombe. It features a soundtrack composed by T. G. Lingappa with lyrics by Kannadasan. Muradan Muthu was released on 3 November 1964.

Storyline
A kind-hearted rogue named Muthu will do anything to make his gentle twin brother Kalimuthu happy. When Kalimuthu falls in love with Seetha, a cruel stepmother and a rich zamindar try to stop the marriage. Muthu uses his fearless nature and clever tricks to fight for his brother's love.
