
Server Sundaram(1964)
Server Sundaram is a 1964 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by Krishnan–Panju and produced by A. V. Meiyappan. It stars Nagesh in the title role, with Muthuraman and K. R. Vijaya in lead roles. The story follows Sundaram, a poor hotel waiter who dreams of becoming a film actor. He falls in love with his boss's daughter Radha, but she is engaged to his best friend Raghavan. The film is notable for being the first Tamil film to show behind-the-scenes filmmaking processes. It won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil and the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Tamil. The film was a commercial success, running for over 100 days in theaters. It was released on 11 December 1964.
