Annai Illam(1963)
Annai Illam is a 1963 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by P. Madhavan and produced by M. R. Santhanam. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan in a dual role as father and son, alongside Devika, S. V. Ranga Rao, and M. N. Nambiar. The story follows a generous man who falls into poverty, is separated from his family, and is later framed for murder by a trusted friend. His son must fight to save him from the death penalty. The film was a commercial success, running for over 100 days in theatres. It was released on 15 November 1963.

Storyline
A kind and wealthy man loses everything because of his generosity. After a violent incident, he abandons his family and starts a new life under a false name. Years later, his son discovers his father is alive but has been framed for murder. The son must race against time to prove his father's innocence before he is hanged.
