'Kadavulai Kanden' (transl. I Saw God) is a 1963 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by A. S. A. Sami. The film stars M. R. Radha, Kalyan Kumar, Sowcar Janaki, and Devika. The story follows Ramu, a grieving man who loses his family in a fire and demands to see God. He wanders temples and argues with priests, sinking into alcoholism and despair. A chance encounter with an orphan girl and the kindness of a village doctor lead him to a new understanding of faith.
