Nenjil Or Aalayam(1962)
'Nenjil Or Aalayam' (1962) is a Tamil-language romantic drama film directed, produced, and written by C. V. Sridhar. The lead cast includes Kalyan Kumar, Devika, and R. Muthuraman, with Nagesh, Manorama, and Kutty Padmini in supporting roles. The story follows Dr. Murali, a cancer specialist who must treat the husband of his former lover Seetha. Set entirely inside a hospital, the film explores themes of sacrifice, love, and professional ethics. The music was composed by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy with lyrics by Kannadasan. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil at the 10th National Film Awards. It was a commercial success, running for 175 days in theatres, and became a trendsetter for triangular love stories in Tamil cinema. The film was released on 26 January 1962, coinciding with Republic Day in India.

Storyline
Dr. Murali, a cancer specialist, took a vow of celibacy after losing his lover Seetha to an arranged marriage. Years later, Seetha's husband Venu is diagnosed with cancer. She brings him to Murali's hospital. Murali must now save the man who married the woman he still loves, while fighting his own emotions and proving his integrity.
