Ellam Unakkaga(1961)
Ellam Unakkaga is a 1961 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Adurthi Subba Rao. It stars Sivaji Ganesan and Savitri in lead roles. The story follows Anandan, who marries his friend's daughter Sarala, who is unable to walk after an accident. Her father hopes childbirth will cure her, but when it does not, Anandan must choose between leaving her or staying out of unconditional love. The film was produced by Saravanabhava Unity Pictures and features music by K. V. Mahadevan. It was shot at Neptune Studios in Adyar, Chennai. The film failed commercially, partly because audiences had recently seen Ganesan and Savitri as siblings in Pasamalar. It was released on 1 July 1961.

Storyline
Anandan marries Sarala, a woman who cannot walk, hoping that childbirth will cure her. When the cure fails, her father gives Anandan permission to leave. But Anandan has fallen in love and refuses to abandon his wife. He must prove that his love is unconditional.
