Thirudathe is a 1961 Indian Tamil-language crime drama film directed by P. Neelakantan. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran, B. Saroja Devi, and M. N. Nambiar. It is a remake of the Hindi film Pocket Maar (1956). The story follows Balu, a small-time thief who steals from a poor woman and causes her husband's death. His mother sacrifices her life after discovering his crimes, leading Balu to reform. The film was a commercial success, running for 100 days in theatres. It marked a shift for M. G. Ramachandran toward contemporary roles. The music was composed by S. M. Subbaiah Naidu. The film released on 23 March 1961.

Storyline
