Kanwarlal(1988)
Kanwarlal is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by S. S. Ravichandra. It stars Jeetendra, Raj Babbar, and Sujata Mehta in lead roles. The film follows Kanwarlal, a businessman who helps the poor through illegal means, and his conflict with the corrupt minister Surya Prakash. It is a remake of the Malayalam film Rajavinte Makan (1986). The music was composed by Bappi Lahiri. The film was produced by G. Hanumantha Rao under the Padmalaya Studios banner and presented by Krishna. Despite strong performances, the film did not perform well at the box office. It was released on July 29, 1988.

Storyline
Kanwarlal is a fearless businessman who helps the poor by breaking the law. He clashes with Surya Prakash, a corrupt minister who will do anything to stay in power. When Sandhya, a lawyer and single mother, gets caught between them, Kanwarlal must choose between love and justice. The fight for power leads to a tragic end.
