Trivia
- The film's director Vijay Sadanah was also a producer and actor, known for his work in B-movies and thrillers during the 1970s and 80s.
- This movie was one of the few lead roles for actress Smita Patil's brother, Sameer Patil, who played the character Kamal Nath.
- The soundtrack was composed by Bappi Lahiri, who was at the peak of his popularity in the mid-1980s for his disco-style music.
- The film's plot revolves around a nurse's secret past, a theme less common in mainstream Hindi cinema compared to typical romantic dramas of the era.
- It was released during a period when actress Poonam Dhillon, who played Aarti, was frequently cast in roles portraying women with complex social backgrounds.
- The movie did not perform well commercially, overshadowed by bigger hits of 1985 like 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili' and 'Saagar'.
- Scenes were shot in rural clinic settings, which was a departure from the common urban studio sets used in many films at the time.
