Trivia
- This was one of the few films where Zeenat Aman and Mithun Chakraborty played romantic leads together, despite both being major stars in the 1980s.
- The film's director, Deepak Bahry, was primarily known for directing comedies, making this action-revenge drama a slight departure from his usual work.
- Actor Danny Denzongpa, who played the villain, was also a trained singer and had released music albums around the same time as this film's release.
- The movie's title, 'Hum Se Hai Zamana', is also the name of a popular song from the 1973 film 'Prem Nagar', which starred Rajesh Khanna.
- Despite its star-studded cast, the film was not a major commercial success and is less remembered compared to other Mithun Chakraborty action films of the era.
- The plot revolves around a labor dispute and revenge, reflecting a common theme in early 1980s Hindi cinema that often highlighted social injustice.
- Kamal Kapoor, who played Thakur, was a veteran character actor who appeared in over 200 films, often portraying authoritative or villainous roles.
