Trivia

  • The film's director Bapu was primarily known for his work in Telugu cinema, making this a rare Hindi directorial venture for him.
  • This was one of the earliest films where actor Anil Kapoor played a significant supporting role, before his rise to leading man status.
  • The movie features a cameo appearance by veteran actor Ashok Kumar, who plays a small but pivotal role as a doctor.
  • Music director R.D. Burman composed the songs, but the film's soundtrack did not achieve the same massive popularity as some of his other 1980s works.
  • The plot's central conflict involving a marriage of convenience and a past love was considered quite bold for mainstream Hindi cinema at the time.
  • Actress Padmini Kolhapure, who played the female lead, was a major star in the early 1980s, often cast in emotionally intense roles.
  • The film's title 'Woh 7 Din' translates to 'Those 7 Days', referring to a critical week in the characters' lives.
