Storyline

A kingdom suffers from drought, and the king orders the treasury opened to help the people. His disloyal advisors disobey him and kill him, then try to hunt down his wife and son. The queen and a loyal ally organize a rebellion while the young prince is hidden and raised by a kind gypsy couple.
