Alibaba Aur 40 Chor is a 1979 Hindi fantasy adventure film directed by Umesh Mehra and Latif Faiziyev. It stars Dharmendra as Ali Baba, Hema Malini as Marjina, and Zeenat Aman as Fatima. The story follows a poor woodcutter who discovers a secret cave of forty thieves using the magic phrase 'Khul Jaa Sim Sim'. After his father is killed by the bandit chief Abu Hassan, Ali Baba seeks revenge with the help of Marjina and Fatima. The film is an Indo-Soviet co-production, blending Indian masala cinema with Soviet epic filmmaking. It features music by R. D. Burman, including the popular song 'Khatouba'. The film was released in India on May 29, 1980.

Storyline
A poor woodcutter named Ali Baba accidentally discovers a cave full of gold belonging to forty thieves. He takes some gold, but his greedy brother Qasim is killed by the thieves. Ali Baba must now protect his family and avenge his father's death. He teams up with princess Marjina and the vengeful Fatima to defeat the cruel bandit chief Abu Hassan.
