Black Water (also known as Kala Pani) is a 1980 Hindi action film directed by Shibu Mitra. It stars Shashi Kapoor as Inspector Dharamveer, Neetu Singh as Geeta, and Ajit Khan as the villain Lal. The story follows a grieving police officer who finds new love and purpose while battling a powerful crime gang. The film features Amjad Khan as the brutal henchman Shera. The music was composed by the duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal. The film was produced by Fine Art Pictures. It was released in India in 1980.

Storyline
Inspector Dharamveer is a sad cop who lost his wife. He meets Geeta and finds love again. But a ruthless gangster named Lal and his violent partner Shera threaten the city. They kidnap Geeta. Dharamveer must fight alone to save her and bring the criminals to justice.
