Vangaveeti is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language biographical action film written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The film stars Sandeep Kumar in a dual role as Vangaveeti Radha and Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga, alongside Vamsi Nakkanti, Kautilya, Sritej, Vamsi Chaganti, and Naina Ganguly. Set in Vijayawada during the 1970s and 1980s, the story follows the rise and fall of politician Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga and his elder brother Radha. It depicts their conflict with communist leader Venkata Ratnam and the subsequent gang warfare fueled by caste rivalry between the Kamma and Kapu communities. Storyline
Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga takes over his brother's gang after Radha is murdered. He becomes a powerful politician in Vijayawada. But his rivalry with the Devineni family turns into a bloody caste war. Revenge and power drive the violence. Ranga must fight to survive in a world where trust is deadly.
