Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum(2014)
Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language magic realism comedy film written and directed by Chimbu Deven. The film stars Arulnithi, Bindu Madhavi, Ashrita Shetty, and Bagavathi Perumal in lead roles. The story follows Tamil, a young man who agrees to kidnap a girl for money, only to discover she is his love interest's best friend. The narrative unfolds through three time-loop variations, inspired by the 1998 German film Run Lola Run, which Deven acknowledges in the end credits. The film was shot in Chennai locations including Saidapet, Anna Nagar, Besant Nagar, and Royapuram. Critics praised the ambitious concept and Arulnithi's performance, though some noted the runtime felt padded. The film released in April 2014.
