• They first shared screen space in Rajapattai (2011) because director Suseenthiran needed a bulky, intimidating henchman to stand opposite Vijay. Aruldoss was already cast, but Jayaprakash was a last-minute replacement after the original actor dropped out due to date issues.
• In Vellaiya Irukiravan Poi Solla Maatan (2015), Jayaprakash played the calm, calculating villain while Aruldoss played his hot-headed enforcer. The director said their real-life dynamic — Jayaprakash the quiet senior, Aruldoss the explosive junior — bled into the scenes without rehearsal.
• Maga Muni (2019) became a surprise hit largely because of their face-off in the climax — a 12-minute single-take fight where both actors did their own stunts. That scene directly inspired the brutal, no-cut fight choreography in later low-budget Tamil action films like Jigarthanda Double X.
• On the sets of Ivan Yarendru Therikiratha (2017), the two shared a room in a budget lodge near the shooting location. Aruldoss later revealed that Jayaprakash would wake him up at 5 AM every day to practice their dialogue exchanges — even on days they weren't shooting.
• Aruldoss once said in a 2019 interview: 'Jayaprakash anna doesn't need to act. He just looks at me, and I know exactly what my character should do next. That's why we never needed a rehearsal for Maga Muni.'
