Aegan is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by Raju Sundaram and produced by Ayngaran International. The cast includes Ajith Kumar, Nayanthara, Navdeep, Piaa Bajpai, Suman, and Jayaram. The story follows a CBI officer who goes undercover as a college student to protect a young woman from a terrorist. The film blends action, comedy, romance, and drama in a college setting. It is a remake of the 2004 Hindi film Main Hoon Na. Aegan was released on 25 October 2008 during the Diwali festival. It received mixed reviews but performed well at the box office.

Storyline
A CBI officer named Shiva goes undercover as a college student. His mission is to protect Pooja, the daughter of a police informant. A dangerous terrorist named Chinnappa wants her dead. Shiva must blend in, fight enemies, and keep her safe. He also falls in love with a lecturer named Malika.
