Lee(2007)
Lee is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language sports action film directed by Prabhu Solomon and produced by actor Sathyaraj. The film stars Sibiraj as Leelatharan, a football player seeking revenge, alongside Prakash Raj as coach Buthiran and Nila as Chellamma. Zakir Hussain plays the antagonist Rangabashyam, a corrupt college principal who becomes a minister. The story follows a college football team that is destroyed by political corruption and nepotism, leading to the murder of their coach. The film was shot on the busy streets of Chennai without public awareness. Sibiraj underwent football training at YMCA to prepare for his role. The soundtrack was composed by D. Imman. Critical reception was mixed, with Sify noting the film has little to do with football and is primarily a revenge drama, while Rediff praised its different approach despite standard masala elements. The film had an average box office run.

Trivia
- The film's title 'Lee' is short for the protagonist's full name Leelatharan, a common Tamil nickname style.
- Director Prabhu Solomon shot parts of the film in real, less-filmed locations around Chennai to capture a raw, local feel.
- The movie blends the real-world issues of political corruption and cricket match-fixing, which were hot topics in the 2000s.
- Actor Bharath, who played Lee, was primarily known for romantic roles before this more intense action-drama part.
- The soundtrack by Srikanth Deva features a song 'Oru Naalil' that became popular despite the film's moderate box office run.
- A key subplot involves a facility for the mentally-challenged, a social setting not often central in Tamil action films of that era.
- The film's climax and theme drew comparisons to earlier 2000s thrillers about common people confronting corruption, but it remains a lesser-known work in the director's filmography.
