Satham Podathey is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language psychological thriller film written and directed by Vasanth. The film stars Prithviraj, Padmapriya, and Nithin Sathya, with Nassar, Suhasini, and Premji in supporting roles. The story follows Bhanu, who marries Rathnavel, but discovers he hid his alcoholism and infertility from her. After a violent divorce, she marries Ravi, but Rathnavel kidnaps her and fakes her death. The film is based on a true incident from Andhra Pradesh. It received positive reviews for its sensitive handling of impotence and domestic abuse. Vasanth won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Story Writer. The film was released on 14 September 2007.

Storyline

Bhanu marries Rathnavel, but he hides his alcoholism and infertility from her. After he beats her, she divorces him and marries the kind-hearted Ravi. Rathnavel cannot let go. He kidnaps Bhanu and fakes her death. Now Ravi must find her before it is too late.
