Varalaru (2006) is a Tamil-language action-drama film co-written and directed by K. S. Ravikumar. It stars Ajith Kumar in a triple role as Shivashankar and his twin sons Vishnu and Jeeva. Asin plays Divya, Vishnu's love interest, and Kanika plays Gayathri, the mother. The story follows a wealthy wheelchair-bound man whose family is torn apart by a hidden twin son seeking revenge. The film explores themes of identity, betrayal, and redemption. It was produced by S. S. Chakravarthy under NIC Arts with music by A. R. Rahman. Varalaru released on 20 October 2006 during Diwali and became the highest-grossing Tamil film of the year. It ran for 210 days in theaters.

Storyline
