
Sukran(2005)
Sukran is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by S. A. Chandrasekharan. The film stars Vijay in an extended cameo as the title character, with Ravi Krishna and Anita Hassanandani as the lead pair. The story follows college lovers Ravi and Sandhya whose romance is destroyed by a cruel stepmother, a corrupt police officer, and a twisted judge. The film is notable for its graphic violence, courtroom drama, and its critique of the Indian judicial system. It received an 'A' certificate from the Indian Censor Board and was banned in the UAE for its explicit content. The music was composed by debutant Vijay Antony. The film was released worldwide on 18 February 2005.

Storyline
College lovers Ravi and Sandhya face a nightmare when Sandhya's stepmother frames Ravi for murder. A corrupt judge and police officer gang-rape Sandhya. Just as the couple decides to die together, a mysterious criminal lawyer named Sukran appears to save them and deliver justice.
