• Nassar personally recommended Rambha for Desiya Geetham (1998) after the director struggled to find a lead actress who could match his intensity. He told the team she had 'fire in her eyes' — and that one line got her the role.
• On the set of Sudhandhiram (2000), Nassar would deliberately break character mid-scene to throw Rambha off — forcing her to react in real time. She later said those unscripted moments gave her performance a raw edge she couldn't rehearse.
• During the shoot of Naaga (2003), Rambha cooked Nassar's favourite Kerala-style fish curry every Sunday. The ritual started because he complained about the catering, and it continued for the entire 45-day schedule.
• Rambha once told a magazine: 'Nassar sir doesn't act with you — he fights with you on screen. Every scene with him felt like a real argument. I loved it.'
• Quick Gun Murugun (2009) was the only comedy they did together — and it directly inspired a wave of spoof westerns in Tamil cinema, including the later 'Kalakalappu' series. The director credited their deadpan chemistry for making the parody work.
• In Premikula Roju (1999), Nassar insisted Rambha dub her own lines in Telugu — even though she was a Tamil speaker. He sat with her for three days, coaching her pronunciation line by line. That film became her first Telugu hit.
