Kasthuri Maan is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by A.K. Lohithadas. The film stars Prasanna and Meera Jasmine in lead roles, with Shammi Thilakan and Sarath Babu in supporting parts. It is a remake of Lohithadas's own 2003 Malayalam film Kasthooriman. The story follows Arun Kumar, a poor village boy who dreams of becoming an IAS officer, and Malar, a college girl who sacrifices everything to help him achieve his goal. The film explores themes of love, sacrifice, and class divide. It was produced by Sindhu Lohithadas under the banner of Lohithadas Creations. The film received positive reviews for its emotional storytelling and strong performances. Kasthuri Maan was released in theatres on 14 January 2005.
