
Majaa(2005)
Majaa is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Shafi. It stars Vikram, Asin, and Pasupathy in lead roles. The story follows a family of thieves who relocate to a new village to start an honest life. They become entangled in a conflict with a cruel landlord and his greedy brother-in-law. The film is a remake of Shafi's own Malayalam film Thommanum Makkalum. It received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the performances of Vadivelu and Pasupathy but criticized the thin plot. The music was composed by Vidyasagar. Majaa was released on Diwali day in 2005 and performed as an average grosser at the box office.

Storyline
Two adopted brothers, Aadhi and Mathi, leave their life of crime behind and move to a new village. They try to help a poor old man who is being bullied by a cruel landlord. Mathi falls for the landlord's daughter, but her greedy uncle plots to stop their love.
