Kamarasu is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by P. C. Anbazhagan. The film stars Murali as the titular character and Laila as his love interest, with Vadivelu, Vennira Aadai Nirmala, and Srividya in supporting roles. The story follows a kind-hearted driver who loses his mother and girlfriend to tragic deaths, then sacrifices his own life to save his employer through organ donation. Produced by P. S. K. Karunakaran and distributed by R. B. Choudary of Super Good Films, the movie was released after a two-year delay. Critics found the film outdated in concept and presentation, with slow pacing and predictable situations. The soundtrack was composed by S. A. Rajkumar.
