
Bala(2002)
Bala is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language gangster action film written and directed by Deepak. The film stars Shaam as the titular hitman, alongside Meera Jasmine, Raghuvaran, Rajan P. Dev, and Thilakan. The story follows Bala, a loyal hitman for gangster Pasupathi, who falls in love with Aarthi, the daughter of Pasupathi's rival Jayamani. Their love is threatened when the old don Paranthaman proposes a marriage between Aarthi and Pasupathi's son to end the gang war. The film features a soundtrack composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Priyan. Critics noted the film's familiar gangster plot but praised its dialogues, background score, and cinematography. Despite mixed reviews, the film managed average business at the box office. It was released on 13 December 2002.

Storyline
