'Kaalamellam Kadhal Vaazhga' is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by R. Balu in his directorial debut. The film stars Murali as Jeeva and Kausalya in her Tamil debut, with Gemini Ganesan, Manivannan, Charle, Vivek, and Karan in supporting roles. The story follows a poor college singer who falls in love with a wealthy music enthusiast through phone conversations, facing class-based opposition from her family. The film was produced by Sivasakthi Movie Makers and features a soundtrack composed by Deva. It became a commercial blockbuster, completing 200 days in theatres, and was later remade in Kannada as 'Kushalave Kshemave' (2003). The cinematography by Thangar Bachan and Kausalya's performance received positive reviews from critics.

Storyline
