Trivia

  • This was the first film where director Sundar C worked with actor Prabhu, who played one of the lead roles.
  • The film's plot is loosely inspired by the 1994 Hindi film 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!', focusing on marriage and mistaken identity.
  • Actress Roja played a dual role, portraying both a bride and another character, adding to the comedic confusion.
  • The comedy track involving Manorama and Vadivelu was a major highlight and was widely appreciated by audiences.
  • Despite having popular stars, the film had a moderate box office run and is not among Sundar C's biggest hits.
  • The song 'Kadhal Vandhuchu' became quite popular and was frequently played on Tamil television channels at the time.
  • Cinematographer U.K. Senthil Kumar, who later shot big films like 'Baahubali', handled the camera for this movie.
