'Vetri Vinayagar' is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language devotional film directed by K. Shankar. The film stars K. R. Vijaya as Goddess Parvathi, Radha Ravi as King Kajamuka Sooran, and Master Sridhar as Lord Ganesha. The story follows the birth of Ganesha, his accidental beheading by Shiva, and his revival with an elephant head. It then depicts his battle against the demon king who threatens the world. The film is notable for its grand mythological scale, devotional tone, and music by M. S. Viswanathan. It was released on 16 September 1996.

Storyline
Goddess Parvathi creates a boy to guard her door. Lord Shiva does not recognize the boy and cuts off his head. To save the universe from Parvathi's rage, Shiva replaces the head with that of an elephant. The boy becomes Lord Ganesha. Now, a demon king threatens the world, and Ganesha must use his wisdom and strength to defeat him.
