Engirundho Vandhaan(1995)
Engirundho Vandhaan is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by Santhana Bharathi. The film stars Sathyaraj, Roja, and Aamani in lead roles, with Janagaraj, Kalyan Kumar, and Bhanu Chander in supporting parts. The story follows a woman who hires a petty criminal to pose as her husband when her wealthy, ailing father visits from the United States. The film is a remake of the Malayalam classic Chithram (1988). The soundtrack was composed by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy, marking their final collaboration after a three-decade hiatus. The film received positive reviews for its natural storytelling and poignant ending but underperformed at the box office. It was released on 15 January 1995 during the Pongal festival.

Storyline
Radha's boyfriend abandons her at the marriage registrar. Her sick father is coming to visit and expects to meet her new husband. She hires Kannan, a small-time crook, to play the perfect son-in-law for two weeks. Kannan must fool the father, deal with a suspicious tribal chief, and navigate a new romance. Everything falls apart when the ex-boyfriend returns.
