Ellame En Rasathan(1995)
Ellame En Rasathan is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language drama film written, produced, and directed by Rajkiran. The film stars Rajkiran, Sangita, Roopa Sree, and Vadivelu. The story follows Singarasu, a former village president who seeks revenge after his wife is murdered by a rowdy named Mookaiyan. The plot also addresses the social issue of female infanticide. Ilaiyaraaja composed the soundtrack, which includes Vadivelu's debut playback song. The film was a commercial success at the box office. It was later remade in Telugu as Soggadi Pellam and in Kannada as Marthanda. The movie released on 24 April 1995.

Storyline
Singarasu loses his wife to a brutal murder. Only his young daughter saw the killer's face. He travels to a remote village to hunt down the murderer, Mookaiyan. But Mookaiyan follows them, determined to kill the only witness. Meanwhile, the village chief's daughter falls in love with Singarasu. He must choose between revenge and a new chance at love.
