• Vadivelu was a struggling mimicry artist when Sangita recommended him to director Rajasekhar for Rajapandi (1994). She had seen him perform at a stage show and told the team, 'This guy will steal the show.' He did — and it launched his film career.
• In Kaalam Maari Pochu (1996), Sangita deliberately slowed down her dialogue delivery to match Vadivelu's timing. She later said in an interview that she learned to 'leave space for his pauses' — because his comedy came from the silence between words, not the words themselves.
• During the shoot of Rathna (1998), Vadivelu would run Sangita's lines with her before every scene — even though he wasn't in those scenes. She later called him 'the most patient co-star I ever had' in a 2005 TV interview.
• The success of their pairing in Rajapandi directly led to Vadivelu being cast as the lead comedian in Sathyaraj's films. Sangita's producer brother pushed for Vadivelu's name in subsequent projects — a rare instance of a heroine championing a comedian's career behind the scenes.
