Chinna Vathiyar is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language science fiction comedy film directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. The film stars Prabhu in a dual role as Professor Chandramouli and his student Aravind, alongside Khushbu, Ranjitha, and Nizhalgal Ravi. The story follows a professor who invents a formula that can transfer souls between bodies, leading to chaotic body swaps with his student and a villain. The comedy subplot was inspired by Crazy Mohan's play Madhu +2. The film was a box office success and has since gained cult status for its Goundamani-Senthil comedy track. Music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Vaali. The film was initially titled Professor before being changed to Chinna Vathiyar.

Storyline
A brilliant professor invents a medicine that can swap souls between bodies. When he tests it with his star student, their souls get stuck in each other's bodies. A cruel criminal learns about the formula and steals it, causing even more chaos. The professor must find a way to fix everything before it is too late.
