Mogamull(1995)
Mogamull (1995) is a Tamil-language drama film directed by Gnana Rajasekaran. It stars Archana Joglekar, Nedumudi Venu, and Abhishek in lead roles. The story follows Babu, a college student and classical vocalist, who becomes entangled with two women: Thangamma, a frustrated married woman, and Yamuna, an older woman rejected by society. The film explores themes of forbidden love, caste prejudice, and artistic sacrifice. It is based on the novel of the same name by Thi. Janakiraman. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Vaali. Mogamull won the Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a Director. It was released on 14 May 1995.

Storyline
A young classical singer named Babu lives in a Tamil village. He gets involved with a lonely married woman. He also loves a woman named Yamuna, but she refuses him because of their age difference and his musical career. After tragedy strikes, Babu runs away. Years later, his friend finds him broken and unable to sing. Yamuna must decide whether to sacrifice herself to save his art.
