Thiruda Thiruda is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language black comedy caper film directed by Mani Ratnam and co-written with Ram Gopal Varma. The cast includes Prashanth, Anand, Anu Aggarwal, and Heera Rajagopal in lead roles. The story follows two petty thieves who accidentally acquire the access card to a container of stolen currency worth ₹1000 crores. They are pursued by a ruthless London-based gangster and a CBI officer across India. The film is noted for its experimental soundtrack by A. R. Rahman and won the National Film Award for Best Special Effects. It was also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in 1994. The film released on 13 November 1993.

Storyline
Two small-time thieves, Kadhir and Azhagu, steal a purse from a pop star. Inside is a card that unlocks a container holding ₹1000 crores of stolen money. Now they must outrun a violent gangster and a determined CBI officer to keep the fortune. But their biggest challenge might be each other.
