Storyline
A group of thieves steal illegal money to support an orphanage. The police chief knows they are guilty but cannot prove it, and he opposes his daughter's relationship with the gang's leader. After a drunken confrontation leads to a police officer's death, a case of mistaken identity involving a look-alike complicates the resolution of the crime and the romance.
