Oor Mariyadhai(1992)
Oor Mariyadhai is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The film stars Sarathkumar, Sasikala, Napoleon, and Anand in lead roles. The story follows Rathnavelu, a respected village leader who wins a dangerous tug-of-war contest over a fire pit, earning the right to carry the sacred sword and settle disputes. He loves his niece Rasathi, but she is in love with Kannan, the brother of his rival. When Rasathi is forced to marry Rathnavelu, Kannan commits suicide, and his brother swears revenge. The film explores themes of unrequited love, family honor, and sacrifice. It was produced by R. B. Choudary and released on 1 May 1992. The music was composed by Deva.

Storyline
