*Gnana Paarvai* (1991) is a Tamil-language supernatural drama directed by Vietnam Veedu Sundaram. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Harish Kumar, Sasikala, and Manorama. The story follows Sivaji, an old man with the ability to read a person's character and future by looking into their eyes. He uses this gift to protect his daughter, but a false rumor leads to tragedy. The film is notable for being the only movie where comedian Manorama played a romantic lead opposite Sivaji Ganesan. It was produced by entrepreneur R. Dhanapalan, inspired by his spiritual guru Yagava Muni. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan. Despite its unique premise, the film was a commercial failure at the box office. It was released on January 11, 1991.

Storyline
An old man named Sivaji can see a person's true nature and future just by looking into their eyes. His daughter Aruna rejects a wealthy student named Giri, who then spreads a false rumor that destroys her reputation. When tragedy strikes, Sivaji must decide whether to seek revenge or use his wisdom to forgive and save others.
