Nattukku Oru Nallavan is a 1991 Indian Tamil-language crime action film directed by V. Ravichandran. The film stars Rajinikanth, Juhi Chawla, Anant Nag, and Khushbu in major roles. The story follows Inspector Subhash, an honest police officer who investigates an orphanage secretly used for illegal organ trafficking. The operation is run by a powerful criminal named Daddy. After his lover Jyothi is murdered for discovering the truth, Subhash wages a personal war against the corrupt system. The film was simultaneously shot in Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu as Shanti Kranti. Despite high expectations and heavy promotion, the film received negative reviews for its weak screenplay. It was a major box office failure and could not recover its production costs. The film was released on October 2, 1991.
