Pudhu Vasantham(1990)
Pudhu Vasantham is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language musical drama film written and directed by Vikraman in his directorial debut. The film stars Murali, Anand Babu, Raja, Charle, and Sithara in lead roles. The story follows a wealthy young woman who, after fleeing her home, pretends to be mute to live with four struggling street musicians in Madras. The film explores themes of friendship, trust, and class divide through the evolving bond between the woman and the musicians. Produced by R. B. Choudary and R. Mohan under Super Good Films, the movie was a major commercial success, running for over 25 weeks in theatres. It won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Film and Best Director, and the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Tamil. The soundtrack, composed by S. A. Rajkumar, became widely popular. The film was remade in Kannada as Shruthi (1990) and in Hindi as Baharon Ke Manzil (1991).

Storyline
A rich young woman named Gowri runs away from home to escape a forced marriage. She meets four poor street musicians in Madras and pretends to be mute so they will let her stay with them. As they help each other chase their dreams, a deep friendship forms. But when her wealthy lover returns, he threatens to tear them apart.
