Neengalum Herodhan (transl. You too are a hero) is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language satirical film written and directed by V. Sekhar in his directorial debut. The film stars Nizhalgal Ravi, Silk Smitha, Goundamani, and Senthil. It follows a village that becomes obsessed with a film crew shooting a movie, only to discover that their idolised hero is a fraud. The story exposes the gap between a star's on-screen persona and real-life behaviour. The film was praised by Kalki magazine for its strong message. It was released on 25 May 1990.
