Trivia
- The film was shot in reverse chronological order to help the actors portray their characters' different ages.
- It was the last film to feature all three generations of the Akkineni family together: ANR, Nagarjuna, and Naga Chaitanya.
- The movie's title 'Manam' means 'us' in Telugu, reflecting its theme of family bonds across lifetimes.
- Composer Anoop Rubens recorded a song with ANR just weeks before the legendary actor's passing in 2014.
- The film was a critical and commercial success, winning two National Film Awards.
- A key plot device involves a car's license plate number, which holds sentimental value across the reincarnations.
- Director Vikram Kumar also wrote the story, inspired by the concept of souls reuniting in different lifetimes.
