Arundhati is a 2009 Indian Telugu-language supernatural horror fantasy action film directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. The film stars Anushka Shetty in a dual role as the warrior queen Jejamma and her great-granddaughter Arundhati, alongside Sonu Sood, Arjan Bajwa, Sayaji Shinde, and Manorama. The story follows a modern woman who discovers she is the reincarnation of her ancestor, a queen who trapped an evil black magician alive. When the magician's spirit returns to haunt her family, she must retrieve a weapon made from her ancestor's bones to defeat him. The film was noted for its visual effects, grand scale, and strong female lead. It won ten Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards South. The film was released on 16 January 2009 and became a major commercial success.

Storyline
