Trivia
- The film's title 'Aarya 2' is a direct sequel in name only, as it shares no narrative connection with the 2004 film 'Aarya' starring Allu Arjun.
- Director Sukumar wrote the script specifically for actor Allu Arjun, continuing their successful collaboration from the original 'Aarya'.
- The movie features a cameo appearance by actor Suman, who plays a pivotal role in the climax, tying the story's conflict back to the orphanage.
- Parts of the film were shot in the scenic locations of Kerala, including Munnar, to depict the romantic portions between the lead characters.
- The soundtrack by Devi Sri Prasad became popular, with the song 'Ringa Ringa' gaining attention for its folk-inspired tune and choreography.
- This was one of the few films where Allu Arjun's character has a dual role, portraying both the wealthy software owner and his lookalike from the orphanage.
- The film's conflict revolves around the theme of 'one-sided friendship', a recurring motif in director Sukumar's earlier works like 'Arya'.
