Ankusham(1990)
Ankusham is a 1990 Telugu-language action film directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and produced by Shyam Prasad Reddy. The film stars Dr. Rajasekhar as Inspector Vijay and Jeevitha as his wife Parvati, with Rami Reddy and M. S. Reddy in supporting roles. The story follows Vijay, an honest police officer, who learns that a ruthless assassin named Neelakantam has been hired to kill his former mentor, Chief Minister Master Raghuviah. Vijay must stop the assassin before it is too late. The film was a box-office blockbuster and marked a major breakthrough in Rajasekhar's career. It won three Nandi Awards, including Best Villain for Rami Reddy. The film was later remade in Hindi as Pratibandh and in Kannada as Abhimanyu.

Storyline
Inspector Vijay discovers a deadly plot. A cold-blooded assassin named Neelakantam is hired to kill the Chief Minister, who is also Vijay's beloved mentor. Vijay must track down the killer and protect his teacher. But Neelakantam is clever and ruthless. He will stop at nothing to complete his mission.
