Homam(2008)
Homam is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language thriller film written and directed by J. D. Chakravarthy in his directorial debut. The film stars Jagapathi Babu, J. D. Chakravarthy, Mamta Mohandas, and Madhurima Tuli. The story follows Malli, a man with a criminal father who becomes an undercover police officer inside a gang, and Chandu, an orphan raised by a gangster who becomes a police officer as a mole. The film is an adaptation of the Hollywood film The Departed. It received mixed reviews, with critics praising the performances of Jagapathi Babu and Mahesh Manjrekar. The film was produced by Kiran Kumar Koneru under Shreya Productions and released on 29 August 2008.

Storyline
Malli dreams of being a police officer, but his father's criminal past blocks him. A senior cop gives him a chance to go undercover inside a ruthless gang. But the gangster has his own spy inside the police. Both moles must find each other before it is too late.
