Trivia

  • The film's title 'Modati Cinema' translates to 'First Cinema', but it was not the director's first film.
  • Actress Sindhu Tolani made her Telugu debut with this film after working in Hindi and Kannada movies.
  • The movie was shot in just 25 days, which was considered a very short schedule at the time.
  • A subplot involving a family dispute over property was inspired by common themes in 1990s Telugu television serials.
  • The film's climax, where the couple marries on the same day they meet, was promoted as a unique 'instant wedding' concept.
  • It featured a special cameo by a popular Telugu comedy actor in a brief role as a marriage registrar.
  • The soundtrack included a remix version of a classic Telugu folk song, which was uncommon for romantic films of that era.
